Have you ever gotten high from music? Like when the sound coming from your headphones directly into your ears at a high volume just completely takes over and all you feel is music, and all you think is the music. And, for once, you feel nothing, except the cold wind on your face as you walk in the semi-darkness, but it’s not intrusive, it’s somehow soothing. And even though you are just wearing your tatty converse and the favourite jeans with the tiny hole in the back of the thigh that your friends tried to get you to throw away but you resisted, the music takes over even more and in that moment you have never felt more just ‘you’. You feel like you know who you are, exactly, and that you are not lost. You know who you are and you know why you dress the way you do and why you listen to what you listen to. And it’s not because nothing interesting happens in your life and this seems major. In fact you have a pretty eventful life; you do exciting things and have fun with your friends. But sometimes the important things happen when nothing is really happening at all. And it’s just you. Alone on the street. Yet so alive, and so just yourself. Maybe no one else has felt that. It’s a nice feeling.

Does anyone have or know where I can find sims3 poses of a couple running, like one in front of the other holding hands sort of thing? Sort of romantic scenario ;)
Once the awkwardness of the kiss had passed, Vernon and Estella settled back into a steady conversation.
Before they knew it, it was the morning, and Estella felt as though she knew Vernon completely.
‘I really had better go. I’ve been gone almost 24 hours! What will Cain think?’
‘What are you going to tell him is a better question.’ Vernon said. It was another rare moment where he was without a smile.
Estella bit her lip. She really didn’t know.
‘Well are you going to tell him the truth? As in you met a random guy at the park and went off adventuring with him all day and all night, and that actually you love him too?’ Vernon’s smile was back, and Estella was glad of it. She felt more at ease when he was smiling.
‘Well I think that might be a bit much for him to handle.’ Estella joked back, ‘But something along those lines I suppose.’
Vernon’s whole face lit up.
‘Are you serious? You are going to break it off with him for me?’
Estella bit her lip again. ‘That is what you want isn’t it?’
‘Well of course it’s what I want! Just not what I expected.’
‘But what if I’m not the ‘The One’ and you leave again in a few weeks? Then I will have thrown everything away.’ the anxiety in Estella’s voice was clear.
Vernon just laughed.
‘Estella, from the moment I saw you I knew. And I wouldn’t let you do this if I wasn’t 100% postive. Of course if you don’t want to it’s ok..’
‘I do! I do want to I swear. But makes you think that it’s me? How could you just see me and know?’
‘I just did.’
He leaned in to kiss her once more.

They sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes.

‘I bet I can swing higher than you.’ Estella broke the silence and smiled at Vernon.

‘Is that a challenge?’

Estella saw the twinkle in his eye. She could feel her head going fuzzy.

‘Maybe.’ She managed to reply through her daze.

They both started swinging as high as they could, laughing as they did so.

‘I’m going higher!’ Estella shouted.

‘Dream on!’

She could see that he was competetive, and she liked it.

All of a sudden, Vernon’s swing veered to the side, crashing into Estella’s. They both flew off of the swings, landing in a heap on the floor. Neither of them could breath through the hysterical laughter that followed.

Before she knew what was happening, Vernon’s lip were on Estella’s. She kissed him back, forgetting about everything else. She let the moment take control of her.

It was like no other kiss she had had before. Cain was a good kisser sure, but she never felt this connected to him.

They pulled apart and sat up, both still a little breathless.

The silence came back once again.

Estella sat in the quiet and thought. What had she done? She was engaged for goodness sake! She couldn’t just go around kissing men she had known for less than 24 hours. Yet she didn’t feel a scrap of guilt.

Vernon spoke first.

‘I…I think I love you.’

‘I was scared you would say that.’

‘Why?’

‘I was scared of what my response would be. Because I think I love you too.’

Woah. That had come from no where. How could she love him? She hadn’t even known him a day! She had known Cain forever, she loved him!

Yet she knew that, somehow, for some reason, she did love Vernon.

‘Good!’ Vernon’s subtle smirk turned back into a cheesy grin.

‘So where are we going first?’ Estella was nervous about the response. She could tell from the few hours that she had known him that he could be unpredictable.

‘The kiddies park!’ The joy in his voice was evident.

‘Really?’ Estella was surprised. She didn’t really know what she had been expecting, but it wasn’t this.

‘Yes, and I’m in charge so you’d better sound more happy about it, because what I say goes.’ He winked once again.

Estella wished he would stop doing that. It seemed to be his trademark, and it made her heart flutter a little bit every time he did it. And that was bad. Or so she had to keep telling herself.

They came to the swings and sat down, both swaying slightly.

‘So Cain. What’s the deal with this guy?’ Vernon said Cains name in the same way as before, as if he found the very idea of him amusing.

‘You just don’t give up do you?’ Estella meant it to sound cross, but it came out in the usual light hearted way.

‘Nope.’ He grinned his cheshire grin.

Estella sighed. That grin made her head cloud up way more than it should have done.

‘We’ve been together since high school. And then we moved away from our families to Riverview, and got engaged. That’s all there is to tell really.’

‘He’s your only boyfriend? Ever?’ Vernon’s grin was back.

Estella fixed her gaze onto her feet, she had to ignore the smile. It was messing with her head.

‘Yep.’

‘Then how do you know you want to marry him? You have nothing to compare him to.’

Estella laughed.

‘I’m pretty sure I do want to.’ But was she? She was considering what Vernon had said now. ‘But anyway, what about you? It’s your turn to bare all now!’

‘Bare all? If you want me to, but this is a public place you know…’ He gave her his smug look once again.

Estella reached out and hit him gently on the leg, and she couldn’t help but smile. She felt completely at ease with him, as if they were child hood friends.

‘You know what I mean Vernon.’

‘Fine. Hmm well, I’ve had 6 girlfriends, but none of them serious. I’m looking for ‘The One’ you see. So as soon as I figure out that the girl I’m seeing isn’t her, there’s no reason for me to stay really.’

‘6? Wow. What if one of those women was ‘The One’, but you’ve let her go?’

Vernon laughed.

‘I’m pretty sure that’s not the case.’

‘Have you ever thought you were close to finding her?’ Estella asked.

He looked away, embarassed. It was the first time Estella had seen him without a smile on his face.

‘Let’s just say I don’t do this with every girl.’

Silence fell upon them.

Before she knew it, Estella had spent a whole day chatting to Vernon. Despite only knowing him for a day, he was so easy to talk to, and she felt as if he was an old friend.
‘I’d better be going, it’s getting late and Cain will be wondering where I am.’
This was partly true, but not the most prominent reason for leaving. The connection she felt to Vernon scared her a little. She was engaged, and she loved Cain. The excitement she was getting from her new ‘friend’ was worrying her. She rose from her seat.
‘Cain? Is that his name?’ Vernon was smirking, in an almost smug way.
‘Yes…’ She was nervous now. She was anxious to leave before she got too involved with Vernon.
‘I have a proposal for you.’ He was serious now, but he still had that smug smile playing around his lips.
Estella’s brain told her to ignore it and leave, to go home to Cain. But her body sat back down opposite Vernon.
Vernon took this as a prompt to carry on.
‘Let me take you on an adventure tonight. I’ll show you what fun is. You’ll be home safe by morning, and if you want to carry on your like with Cain, you can forget all about it. But you look like you could use some excitement.’
She looked at him in disbelief. He had said Cain’s name like it was a joke, something to be disregarded.  She knew she should leave. But she just couldn’t. It was harmless, and he had said she could forget all about it afterwards, hadn’t he?
‘Fine.’ She replied.
‘Shit. Didn’t mean to say that.’ She cursed herself in her head.

‘I’m Vernon.’ He had a huge grin on his face while he spoke.
‘I’m Estella.’ She grinned back.
His smile was infectious, and Estella couldn’t help herself.
‘There! We aren’t strangers anymore. Am I allowed to talk you now?’ He spoke jokingly, and Estella could feel herself warming towards him already.
‘Yes, I suppose.’ Estella replied, giggling a little as she did so.
‘So have you always lived here? In Riverview?’
‘No, I moved here with my fiance,…’ she started, but she was soon cut off by her new friend.
‘Fiance? Damn. This conversation was going to eventually lead to me asking you out.’ he winked once again.
Estella giggled awkwardly.
‘Never mind, you can just be my extremely attractive friend.’ He was so confident, and she loved his cheekiness.
She laughed once again.

Estella sat down, and opened her newspaper. She spent most Sunday mornings in the park, she felt the fresh air did her good. She was soon engrossed in the newspaper.

‘Good Morning!’

Estella was aware of someone sitting down on the bench, and she looked up from the article she was reading. She turned to see a stranger sat at the other end of the bench. She wasn’t phased by his greeting, most people in Riverview were polite.

She smiled and returned the greeting, before returning to her newspaper.

‘Is that all? I was hoping to strike up a conversation.’

Estella looked up once again, surprised this time. ‘Oh, I’m sorry…’

The stranger laughed. ‘No need to be sorry, I suppose you were taught not to speak to strangers.’ He winked at Estella, and she felt herself blush. He was very attractive, and there was something about his manner and the casually confident way he spoke that intrigued her.

Sorry :(

I haven’t been on in like a week because I just started back at school so I haven’t really had time I’m afraid :( So the house I am working on is nowhere near finished, but I plan to go for as long as I can keep my eyes open for you all tonight!

Love you all!

Reblog if it is alright if I come to your blog and anonymously confess something to you.
